Recently, students from The Shanti International School had the opportunity to embark on an exciting and educational tour to one of Jodhpur’s hidden gems – Madore Garden. This outing was not just about exploring nature, but also about learning about the rich flora, history, and environment of our local surroundings.
Upon arriving at Madore Garden, students were immediately enchanted by the vibrant greenery, blooming flowers, and serene surroundings. The garden, known for its well-maintained landscapes and variety of plant species, provided the perfect setting for our students to connect with nature and expand their knowledge.
Our tour guide shared fascinating facts about the garden’s history, the types of plants and trees that thrive in the region, and the importance of preserving such natural spaces. Students were able to see a variety of plants up close and learn about different species that are native to the arid climate of Rajasthan. The lush greenery provided a sharp contrast to the otherwise dry landscapes of Jodhpur, making it a unique learning experience for the students.
The students engaged in a nature walk, observing the variety of flowers, trees, and even small wildlife that call Madore Garden home.
